Tracy Zeller is a lifelong Evansville resident. Two years after graduating from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Tracy successfully completed the Gemological Institute of America’s Diamond Graduate Course and continued to prepare herself educationally for a career in jewelry. In 2004, with nearly two decades of experience and a true entrepreneurial spirit, Tracy opened the innovative Tracy Zeller Jewelry in Evansville. She offers the tri-state a unique jewelry shopping experience built upon the principles of trust, quality, value, and integrity. With unwavering commitment to those principles and by surrounding herself with the right team of people, both personally and professionally, Tracy has grown her business exponentially.

Tracy’s faith is an important part of her life. As such, Tracy and her husband, Jim, realize the value of taking care of family, team members, vendors, and clients and feel fortunate to have the best of all of them! Throughout the growth of the business, Tracy has remained dedicated to a personal calling she calls “live to give” by giving back to numerous community and charitable organizations. In addition to the financial contributions Tracy makes, she also gives of her time to several organizations. She has served as President of A Network of Evansville Women (ANEW), President of the West Side Kiwanis chapter, on the Board of Directors of Community Marriage Builders, and the Board of Southwest Indiana Chamber of Commerce, just to name a few.

Along with the many educational events and speaking engagements to which she is invited throughout the year, Tracy is a regular guest on WFIE’s Ask the Expert segment on Midday with Mike Blake.  She is the jewelry spokesperson on Local 7’s Tri-State Professionals and Lifestyles programs.  Evansville Living magazine readers have twice voted her among the Best of Evansville.  Southwest Indiana Chamber recognized her three times in the last decade; as Entrepreneur of the Year, a finalist for the Small Business of the Year award and as Businessperson of the Year in 2014.  The ANEW organization hailed her as a Woman of Action.  The University of Southern Indiana acknowledged her as a Distinguished Alumni and the Indiana Women’s Jewelry Association nominated her Entrepreneur of the Year. Tracy was named one of the YWCA’s 100 Years / 100 Women and her business was nominated as an Indiana Small Businesses to Watch.  In addition, in both 2012 and 2014 she was honored as an ATHENA Award finalist.

Tracy adamantly credits her success to five basic beliefs:

  • A business is only as good as its people.
  • Success is in the details.
  • True achievement comes from helping others achieve.
  • Networking is vital.
  • Do more than is expected.

In those rare moments of free time, Tracy enjoys every minute with Jim, family, and friends. She particularly enjoys shopping and traveling, ideally, shopping while traveling. Golfing is also one of Tracy’s favorite outdoor activities and netted her a hole-in-one in 2006 and another in 2014. Most of all, Tracy truly loves what she does, so going to work is really nothing like work at all!
